One of the advantages of having a larger room is that technology keeps changing, even from the time that we designed the building we've noticed that we gone to more minimally-invasive procedures. Even though we make smaller incisions, we might need larger equipment. Take for instance our da Vinci robot that we use for prostatectomies and now for hysterectomies for females, we can make small incisions but the machine itself takes up a large amount of space, and having larger rooms and the ability to move the equipment in and out of the rooms freely will really facilitate the use of those rooms in many different procedures to come as the technology advances.
