Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, blend together oat bran, cream soda, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg and flaxseed meal and let sit for three to four minutes. In a separate bowl, mix together canned pumpkin, caramel syrup and vanilla. Combine both bowls together, then mix in HMR packets, baking powder and baking soda. Line muffin pan with baking cups. Batter will fill about 14 muffin cups. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
