Sharp HealthCare Exiting ACO
Effective Feb. 28, 2018, Sharp HealthCare, Sharp Community Medical Group and Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group will no longer participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Next Generation Accountable Care Organization (ACO) model.
Continuing your care.
You may continue to receive primary, specialty and hospital care at Sharp Community Medical Group, Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group and Sharp hospitals under your current health coverage. Sharp accepts select Medicare Advantage plans that offer added programs and services including care coordination programs.
You have until March 31, 2018, to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan accepted by Sharp if you have not already made changes during open enrollment. If you decide to keep your current coverage, your ACO programs and services will end on or before March 16, 2018.
