"Tuesdays with Morrie" is a memoir by author Mitch Albom about a series of visits he made to his former sociology professor Morrie Schwartz before his death. The storyline captures helpful life lessons that were gained from each conversation.
Join us for this three-week discussion series where we will explore in more depth the wisdom shared between two friends as they talked about life and death. We will also discuss practical ways you can apply these lessons to your own life, as well as health care planning tips.

Please note that the class starting on July 11, will be held in person at the Grossmont Healthcare District. The class starting on Aug 3, will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams. The content will be the same for both courses.

Presenter Information
Colleen Linnertz, LMFT, SEP, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, somatic experiencing practitioner and certified creativity coach. She has been an advance care planning coach and bereavement counselor with Sharp Hospice since 2003. Linnertz has a special interest in the use of memoir and narrative art techniques to help individuals transform the challenging emotions of loss and life transitions into newfound strengths.
Arrival
July 11, 18 and 25: Please arrive 10 minutes early, so that the class can begin on time.
Aug. 3, 10, and 17: All classes will be held online. You can attend via phone, computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet). The program manager will email you the login information at least one day before the class.
