EMR Cerner Training: NHT for ED RNs
Eight-hour training for newly-hired emergency department RNs.

The class is designed for Emergency Department registered nurses as a part of Sharp HealthCare's new hire training for Cerner EMR FirstNet.
It is one part of the complete training process and is being offered as an alternative to taking the EMR-NHT Advanced online tutorials. It is scenario driven and workflow based and includes medication administration barcoding competency.
Before attending this class, new hire registered nurses must successfully complete one or both of the following through the Learning Center:
- Online EMR-Basic ED NHT tutorials
- EMR-Basic ED NHT proficiency test

Parking Information
Due to ongoing construction, there is limited on-site parking at the Sharp Corporate Office. Please park in the structure located to the north of Spectrum Center Boulevard on Sunroad Centrum Lane.
To park in the structure, a pass is required. You will receive a parking pass with a map in a separate email from your registration confirmation. Please print the parking pass, write in the date of your class at the top and make sure to display it on your vehicle’s windshield.
You will need the barcode located on the second page of the PDF document to enter the structure. Please park on levels 5, 6 or 7 only, as vehicles parking in the incorrect location or not displaying the permit will be subject to towing.
You will need to walk across the street to enter the Sharp Corporate Office, so please make sure to arrive in plenty of time to get to class on time.
When you leave the parking structure, please do not use the "monthly parker" exit.
Special Instructions
Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified prior to the class and you will have the opportunity to attend another date.

This course has been provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider No. 70) for 8.0 contact hours.
