The class is designed for the Sharp HealthCare registered nurse new hire training for Cerner EMR PowerChart.
It is one part of the complete training process and is being offered as an alternative to taking EMR-NHT Advanced online tutorials. It is scenario driven, workflow based and includes medication administration barcoding competency.
Before attending this class, new hire registered nurses (excluding dialysis nurses) must successfully complete online EMR-Basic NHT tutorials and/or EMR-Basic NHT proficiency test through the Learning Center.
If you need to cancel your registration for this event,
please call 1-800-827-4277 Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, or log in to your account to cancel online.
Due to ongoing construction, there is limited on-site parking at the Sharp Corporate Office. Please park in the structure located to the north of Spectrum Center Boulevard on Sunroad Centrum Lane.
To park in the structure, a pass is required. You will receive a parking pass with a map in a separate email from your registration confirmation. Please print the parking pass, write in the date of your class at the top and make sure to display it on your vehicle’s windshield.
You will need the barcode located on the second page of the PDF document to enter the structure. Please park on levels 5, 6 or 7 only, as vehicles parking in the incorrect location or not displaying the permit will be subject to towing.
You will need to walk across the street to enter the Sharp Corporate Office, so please make sure to arrive in plenty of time to get to class on time.
When you leave the parking structure, please do not use the "monthly parker" exit.
Please contact the EMR Training Department directly with questions or to schedule additional class times if needed.
Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified prior to the class and you will have the opportunity to attend another date.
You must bring the certificate of completion from EMR-Basic NHT proficiency.
Please note that dialysis nurses are excluded from the above requirement.
This course has been provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (Provider No. 70) for 7.0 contact hours.
