If you have diabetes, getting regular exercise can be an important part of your treatment plan. Attend this free seminar and learn how increasing your physical activity can help manage your diabetes by controlling your blood glucose level, improving your insulin insensitivity and lowering your risk for heart disease.
At this session, a Sharp diabetes education specialist will be able to help you:
- Understand the benefits of increasing activity in managing your diabetes
- Navigate around the challenges of being motivated to exercise
- Identify how "short cuts” have decreased your activity and what you can do to make a change
This workshop is presented by Sharp HealthCare, the official health and wellness partner of the City of San Diego.
