This class is a combination of both gentle and restorative aligned yoga poses that are performed while standing or laying down. The instructor will guide you through breath techniques and poses, helping to reduce stress and increase overall body strength and flexibility. Variations of poses are given to accommodate all student levels. You will leave class feeling refreshed and relaxed!

Free parking is available in front of the hospital. Valet parking is available at the main hospital entrance on Prospect Place, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm. Free validation is provided to patients and visitors arriving at the hospital for emergency services, surgery, lab tests, rehabilitation therapy and other hospital needs.

Cynthia Mendiola teaches Chair Yoga Flow, Healing Yoga, Simple Yoga and Gentle Fitness. She is an ACE-certified personal trainer.
This class will run for approximately 50 minutes. Class times and dates are subject to change.
If this is your first group exercise class, you must go to the Sewall Healthy Living Center (250 Prospect Place, Coronado, California, 92118) to fill out a health questionnaire and a waiver/release of liability form prior to your class. Please plan to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes early to allow time to fill out the forms and get to class on time.
If you have previously taken a personal training session or been a gym member at the Healthy Living Center, you do not have to fill out the forms again.
Please wear comfortable exercise clothing and bring a yoga mat with you to the class. We also recommend bringing 2-inch yoga blocks, a light cover-up and a towel. Water and restrooms are accessible nearby.
