It’s never too early to learn how to save a life! Enroll for this American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR and AED class designed specifically for high school students.
Course topics include:
- Adult and child single-rescuer CPR
- Adult AED scenarios
- Infant single-rescuer CPR
- Adult, child and infant choking
Participants will receive a two-year American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR course completion card.
Please note, you must be able to provide your current high school photo ID card at the class. In addition, students under age 18 must bring a signed waiver by a parent or guardian to participate.
Registration for this class is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted. If you do not receive an email confirming your enrollment, please call 1-800-82-SHARP (1-800-827-4277).
If you need to cancel your registration for this event,
please call 1-800-827-4277 Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, or log in to your account to cancel online.
A fee of 100 percent
will be deducted from the amount paid if you cancel your registration less than 24 hours
before the event.
Parking is free in the Brier Patch lot.
Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified by phone two days before the class and will have the opportunity to attend another date or receive a full refund of the registration fee.
Please note, there is a $20 replacement fee if you lose or damage your AHA course completion card.
Participants who arrive more than five minutes after the class start time will be asked to reschedule.
Bring your current high school student photo ID with you to class. No other forms of ID will be accepted. In addition, students under the age of 18 must bring a signed waiver form by their parent or legal guardian. The waiver form will be sent to you as a PDF after you register.
If you do not have your student ID or if you are under 18 and do not bring a signed waiver form with you to class, you will be asked to reschedule or you may have to forfeit your registration fee.
Please also bring the Heartsaver CPR and AED textbook with you to class.
