As people age, their voice can change not only during childhood and adolescence, but also in the latter years of life. Find out how to maintain a healthy voice at this class with speech therapists from Sharp Rehabilitation Services.
The presenter will go over the anatomy of how a normal voice is produced and talk about the ways in which it can change, such as an increase or decrease in pitch, a reduction in volume, projection and endurance and the possibility of tremors or shakiness.
You will also learn how to keep your voice healthy by maintaining overall body wellness, doing vocal and breathing exercises and limiting activities, such as yelling and screaming, which can diminish the effectiveness of your voice.
