A standardized on-scene emergency management concept that allows users to adopt an integrated organizational structure for single or multiple incidents without being hindered by jurisdictional boundaries.
At the completion of the class, the participant will have met the requirement for NIMS (National Incident Management System) 700 and ICS (Incident Command System) 100 and 200. The participant will also have a basic understanding of HICS (Hospital Incident Command System).
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Understand the principle concepts and features of NIMS/ICS
- Understand the application and use of the HICS elements
- Understand the principles of the standardized Emergency Management System and hospital responsibilities

Classes may be cancelled if there are fewer than five people enrolled. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified prior to the start date.
