Nutrition and Breast Cancer Class
Free virtual class for breast cancer patients to learn about nutrition and healthy eating both during and after treatment.

Healthy eating and physical activity are important during and after cancer treatment. This live online class will focus on the most current nutrition and physical activity recommendations, plant-based eating, managing side effects of treatment, and will review frequently asked questions and myths about breast cancer and nutrition.
This class is open to any breast cancer patient at a Sharp or non-Sharp facility. Family members, caregivers and friends are all invited to attend.

Presenter Information
Katey Thurmes is a registered dietitian and board-certified specialist in oncology nutrition who has worked at Sharp HealthCare since 2004. She provides nutrition education and counseling for patients at the Sharp Outpatient Pavilion Cancer Center as well as inpatients at Sharp Memorial Hospital.
Arrival
All classes will be held online. You can attend via phone, computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet). The instructor will email the login instructions to you by the morning of the class.
