Partnerships With Industry (PWI) is a San Diego-based nonprofit bringing together employers and persons with developmental and other disabilities in win-win partnerships. The organization works with over 200 local businesses to provide employment opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Sharp Lends a Hand volunteers will work side by side with PWI’s clients to assist with product assembly in their Work and Training Center. A brief overview of PWI conducted by a member of its executive team will be included.

How do I obtain a Sharp Lends a Hand T-shirt?
The Sharp Lends a Hand T-shirts are not event-specific, so if you have volunteered in a past event, you don't need to obtain another T-shirt. If you are volunteering for the first time, you may pick up your T-shirt at Spectrum by going to the second floor and following the signs to the T-shirt location. We have sizes ranging from child medium to adult XXXL.
The Spectrum building is open from 6 am to 6 pm and you must have your Sharp ID for access into the building. If you cannot come to Spectrum, please arrange to have a Sharp employee pick one up for you. Unfortunately, we cannot interoffice mail the shirts.
Can I bring my children?
Sharp HealthCare encourages our team members to bring their families to our volunteer events whenever possible, however, children under the age of 18 may not volunteer for this event.
