Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States and the symptoms aren’t always obvious. Come to this free workshop for City of San Diego employees and get the facts about heart disease and stroke.
You'll receive information on risk factors that you aren't able to control, such as your age and family history, and others that you are able to change, like your weight, blood pressure and cholesterol. We'll also discuss some of the keys to preventing heart disease by adopting a heart-healthy lifestyle.
This workshop is presented by Sharp HealthCare, the official health and wellness partner of the City of San Diego.
