POC Glucose Accu-Chek Trainer Class
This class is for POC trainers to maintain certification in order to train instrument operators.
Presented by Sharp Grossmont Hospital
POC trainers are required to attend initial and annual trainer classes, taught by the Sharp POC coordinator, in order to maintain certification to train instrument operators. Trainers will learn instrument operation, troubleshooting, patient testing, test limitations, competency forms and result evaluations.

Parking Information
Hospital parking is available in Parking Structure 2. Parking is free for visits under an hour. For one-to-four-hour visits, the rate is $4. Fees beyond four hours are an additional $2 every 15 minutes with a maximum of $20 a day. A multiday parking pass is available from the parking attendant for $15.
Presenter Information
Marilyn Lawhead, MT(ASCP), CLS, is the point-of-care coordinator at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. She did her medical technology internship at Sharp Memorial Hospital and has been a clinical laboratory scientist at Sharp Grossmont for 38 years.
Arrival
Please arrive five minutes before class is scheduled to start. Please do not bring food or drink to class.
