This class offers cancer patients and their loved ones different ways to manage the stress and anxiety that accompanies a cancer diagnosis. A licensed clinical oncology social worker will give you proven tips and strategies for quieting the voice of worry in your head and show you how to manage difficult emotions, fears and nerves.

Linda Hutkin-Slade, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, is a licensed clinical oncology social worker at Sharp Grossmont Hospital's Center for Cancer Treatment. She has an extensive background in programming for cancer patients and their loved ones.
