Americans are grappling with the events and protests of the past few weeks, spotlighting the work we need to eradicate systemic racism to ensure African Americans are treated equally, fairly and justly.

The Sharp Equality Alliance (SEA) understands the importance of giving African Americans along with their team members a safe, confidential space to come together and have their voices heard. SEA has partnered with the Sharp Employee Assistance Program (EAP), to offer a new series of virtual support sessions called “Safe Speak.”

In these discussion forums, participants will have the opportunity to connect with peers, speak openly, find support, brainstorm solutions and share their unique experiences navigating the world with a focus on giving our African American colleagues an opportunity to share how they’re experiencing this time both professionally and personally.

Participation in Safe Speak sessions is on a voluntary basis and is not presumed work time.
