This conference is open to Sharp and non-Sharp registered nurses.

This one-day conference is open to registered nurses who are interested in learning about the latest guidelines and treatments for a wide variety of patient populations. Education topics will include sepsis, congestive heart failure, sodium-glucose Cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) class medications, pleural effusion, post cardiac surgery complications and COVID-19 and pneumonia.
Attendees will be able to apply this information to their own practice regardless of where they work.
By the end of this conference, you will:
- Gain an understanding of various conditions that are commonly seen at Sharp Chula Vista that may impact mortality and length of stay
- Learn about the latest research and treatment guidelines
- Discuss best practice strategies when caring for patients with various conditions
