Sharp HealthCare CPI: Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Refresher Class
Sharp employees will learn about crisis prevention at this half-day seminar.
Presented by Sharp Cardiac Training Center
The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention program is a safe, non-harmful, behavior management system designed to help human service professionals provide for the best possible care, welfare, safety and security of disruptive, assaultive and out-of-control individuals — even during their most violent moments.
This four-hour refresher class is open to Sharp HealthCare employees who have direct interactions with patients. It will emphasize early intervention and nonphysical methods for preventing or managing disruptive behavior. The Crisis Prevention Institute's personal safety techniques are also included.
Please note that you must have completed the eight-hour nonviolent crisis intervention class within the last two years to register for this course.
