After completing Toddler Talking Tips Class No. 1, you may wonder how best to apply what you have learned.
The final class in a two-part series for parents, grandparents, and other family caregivers focuses on how to use playtime to facilitate increased communication and which books/toys will best promote language use. We will also review milestones and outline when you should speak with your pediatrician regarding a referral to a speech and language pathologist.
This course provides take-home and actionable steps to use for children from 9 months through toddlerhood. There will also be plenty of time to answer your questions.
After completing this two-part class series, you will:
- Feel confident in supporting your toddler's language development
- Be able to choose books/toys that are best for language growth
- Know if/when to reach out to your pediatrician with any language development concerns

Fee Information
The fee for this class is $15 per family. Please enroll just one person in your family to avoid being charge an extra fee.
Presenter Information
Sydney Barnes, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech language pathologist with Sharp Rees-Stealy. She specializes in early intervention and is a parent of a toddler.
Arrival
Classes will be held online. You can attend via your computer or mobile device. An email will be sent to you by the instructor with the login information by the morning of the class.
