This training session is designed for Sharp Rees-Stealy registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses and occupational therapists who will be applying an Unna Boot to patients in a clinical setting. The class includes a lecture and hands-on practice.
After attending this course, you will be able to:
- Describe indications and contraindications of Unna Boot application
- Describe the process of Unna Boot application and removal
- In a laboratory setting, demonstrate proper preparation, application and removal of an Unna Boot using appropriate supplies
