For some of us, the day isn’t over until you’ve enjoyed something sweet. If you’re trying to keep a balanced diet, however, a smoothie is the perfect indulgence. Here’s just one of many great recipes for a healthy treat.
Snickerdoodle SmoothieIf you like it as a cookie, you’ll love it as a smoothie!
Yields 1 serving
1 cup unsweetened soy milk (or milk of choice)
1 medium banana
1 medjool date, chopped
1 tablespoon almond butter
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup ice
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust amount of ice based on your preferred consistency.
