Using the HMR Chicken with Barbecue Sauce Entrée, this one-pan recipe provides a strong, spicy flavor and is perfect for one or for the whole family. Loaded with tender, boneless chicken, tangy barbecue sauce, rice and pinto beans, this dish not only tastes amazing, but also leaves you feeling fantastic.
HMR Fajita Bowl

1/2 cup onions, sliced
1/2 cup bell pepper, sliced
1 HMR Chicken with Barbecue Sauce Entrée
1/4 packet fajita seasoning
1/4 cup water
Juice of 1/2 lime
Salsa, to taste (optional)
Coat medium skillet with cooking spray. Over medium heat, add onions and peppers, and sauté.
Slice chicken from the HMR entrée into strips and add to the pan. Heat until soft, about 5 minutes.
In a liquid measuring cup, add the seasoning and water, stirring until combined. Add liquid mixture to the pan, along with the rice and beans from the entrée and lime juice. Stir to combine, and heat until warm.
Serve in a bowl and top with salsa (optional).
