Nov. 18, 2016

HMR® pumpkin pie shake

The holidays can be a difficult time to stick to a healthy way of eating. That’s why we’re sharing this recipe for a taste of a holiday favorite without the guilt.

Sharp Rees-Stealy’s Center for Health Management partners with Health Management Resources® (HMR) to provide the Healthy Solutions program, which includes nutritious, low-calorie shakes, entrees and bars.

HMR® Pumpkin Pie Shake
Yields 1 serving

4 to 6 ounces cold water
1 packet HMR® 500 vanilla shake mix
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Ice cubes

Pour cold water into a blender. Begin mixing on lowest speed. While blender is on, add shake mix and flavorings. Blend for about 10 seconds. Gradually add ice cubes one at a time. (Replace the blender cover after adding each ice cube.) Continue mixing on lowest speed for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until the ice is thoroughly blended and shake is smooth.
