In 2005, Lennie Gee was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. After chemotherapy and radiation therapy, her lung cancer went into remission, but the treatment caused damage to her heart.
Lennie was referred to Sharp Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Center to receive care that would help her heal, regain her strength and improve her overall quality of life.
