Overnight Oat Breakfast Parfait
Make large batches at a time and grab one Mason jar out of the refrigerator each day.
Yields 1 serving
Ingredients
1 Mason jar
1/2 cup dry oats
1/2 cup milk: unsweetened coconut, unsweetened almond or cow's milk
1/2 cup plain yogurt (can omit and double the non-dairy milk for a fully plant-based option)
1 cup fruit of choice, cut into bite-size pieces (options include berries, apples, kiwi, mangoes, orange segments)
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 dash cinnamon (optional)
1/8 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
Directions
Place oats, milk of choice, yogurt (if using) and chosen add-ons (honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla) in Mason jar and mix. Store in refrigerator overnight. Top with fruit either at time of mixing or right before eating.
