Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center
Intensive Care Unit at Sharp Chula Vista
Comfort, support and exceptional care in the South Bay.
If you or a loved one has a critical health concern, you want the best care possible. At the Sharp Chula Vista intensive care unit (ICU), our highly skilled medical team provides the most advanced treatments within a compassionate, respectful environment.
A private, peaceful setting.
Undergoing critical care can be distressing for you and your family. At times like these, your comfort and privacy are vitally important. The ICU at Sharp Chula Vista was built with this in mind. Our unit has 28 private rooms with either ocean or mountain views — and a quiet reflection garden is available to patients and visitors. We know support from friends and family can expedite your recovery, so our rooms are designed to accommodate overnight guests.
The specialized care you need.
A team of specialists is on hand around the clock to give you the highest quality of care. From top doctors and specially trained nurses to nutritionists and respiratory therapists, you are in the best of hands day and night.
If you are visiting a loved one in the ICU, we encourage you to get to know our staff and caregivers — ask how you may contact them, or they you, when you are away from the medical center. We are here to answer your questions and ease your concerns.
We welcome visitors every day of the week during all hours — except from 7 am to 8 am and 7 pm to 8 pm — and we strive to keep our guest policy flexible according to patient preference. Please keep in mind that we encourage quiet and rest for our patients to support their healing process.
