Sharp Mesa Vista Bipolar Disorder Clinical Trials
Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital is enrolling both men and women for a study of investigational medicine for bipolar disorder. To qualify, you must be:
- Diagnosed with bipolar I disorder
- Between the ages of 18 and 65
- Having symptoms of a manic episode
About this study.
This study is for people diagnosed with bipolar I disorder who are having mania symptoms. The study will last for eight weeks and participants will receive either the investigational drug (Brexpiprazole (OPC-34712)) or a placebo. The study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Brexpiprazole (OPC-34712) for the treatment of mania symptoms. Learn more about this study.

Participation is confidential and trials are safely conducted under the supervision of experienced physicians and research specialists. Eligible participants may be compensated for time and travel. Transportation to and from study visits can be provided upon request.
