Biography

Medicine is getting more complicated and sophisticated each day. Patients need physician advocates to guide them through the decision-making process regarding diagnostic testing and treatment options. I believe that patients should play an active role in their medical care. I strive to spend the time to explain their diagnosis and my treatment plan so that they understand why they are sick and what we are doing to heal them.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children and exploring San Diego's many activities for families. I also enjoy reading and watching movies with friends.
