This training session is designed for Sharp Rees-Stealy registered nurses and ortho techs who will be applying an Unna Boot to patients in a clinical setting. The class includes a lecture and hands-on practice.
After attending this course, you will be able to:
- Describe indications and contraindications of Unna Boot application
- Describe the process of Unna Boot application and removal
- In a laboratory setting, demonstrate proper preparation, application and removal of an Unna Boot using appropriate supplies

Please wear scrubs and be prepared to have an Unna Boot applied to your leg during class.
