If you suffer from occasional low back or hip pain or are recovering from a major episode, attend this workshop and yoga class led by a Sharp Rees-Stealy physical therapist and certified yoga instructor.
The workshop will focus on educated self-care utilizing yoga-based activities. The instructor will also incorporate information on how to maintain good hip health since the two areas are closely related.
The small group size allows for plenty of time for personalized instruction and an opportunity to ask questions. Handouts will be provided.
After attending this workshop, you will leave with a better understanding of:
- Basic biomechanics and anatomy of the low back and hips
- Movements you should avoid
- A basic series of yoga poses customized to your body's needs

Dina Chalom, PT, MOMT, is a clinical specialist and physical therapist with Sharp Rees-Stealy. She is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga for Sharp Rees-Stealy since 2006.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the class.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in. All equipment will be provided at the class.
