If you are experiencing discomfort in your neck, shoulders or upper back, attend this workshop and yoga class led by a Sharp Rees-Stealy physical therapist and certified yoga instructor. You will learn how different body types and/or daily activities can create discomfort, as well as the role both stress and mind-body connection may play. The instructor will also show you how to reduce your risk for common pains and injuries, including headaches, and how to work with any existing injuries.
The small group size allows for plenty of time for personalized instruction and an opportunity to ask questions. Handouts will be provided.
After attending this workshop, you will leave with a better understanding of:
- How your neck, upper back and shoulders work
- Tools for preventing and addressing pain and headaches
