Presented by Sharp Grossmont Hospital

Often called the "invisible handicap," hearing loss affects more than 24 million people — or approximately one in every 10 people — from all age ranges in the United States. This class will teach participants not only the basics of how we hear, but also how to spot the signs of hearing loss in yourself or a loved one. The audiologist will also present the latest advances in hearing aid technology, including digital devices, to address this third-most chronic health condition in people over the age of 65.
