Infant and Child CPR and Safety Class

This class teaches basic CPR and first aid for infants and children up to age 7 and discusses how to create a safe home environment. This class is ideal for school children, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and other community members who are interested in learning how to save a life but who do not require a course completion certificate for their job.
Course material is provided by the American Heart Association. The course uses a practice-while-watching video format and manikins for hands-on practice. There is no testing and the student learns through instructor feedback during practice sessions.
Registration for this class is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted. If you do not receive an email confirming your enrollment, please call the phone number above.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your registration for this event, please call 1-800-827-4277 Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, or log in to your account to cancel online.
For Standard: A fee of 100 percent will be deducted from the amount paid if you cancel your registration less than 24 hours before the event.
Parking Information
Parking for the Sharp Corporate Office is available in the west lot in front of the building. Please enter the lot via Gate 1 from Spectrum Center Boulevard.
The parking lot is managed with a pull-ticket parking system. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes without validation. After 90 minutes, students with classes at the Sharp Corporate Office will need to have their ticket validated at the Sharp Prebys Innovation & Education Center (SPIEC) concierge desk.
You will need to have your parking ticket to exit the lot.
Fee Information
Sharp employees are subject to a $25 payroll deduction if they do not attend or if they cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours prior to the start time of the class.
Special Instructions
You will be practicing skills that require working on the floor and having hands-on contact with the mannequins and fellow students. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities, please notify the Sharp Training Center by calling 619-740-4226.
Arrival
If you are currently ill, especially if you have respiratory symptoms, please notify the instructor and reschedule for another date once you are well.
If you experience any difficulty with parking or directions on the day of your class, please call the Spectrum Security Office at 858-499-5711 for assistance.
What to Bring
If you are a Sharp employee, it is mandatory that you bring your Sharp ID badge to class.
