Precepting With Pride Class for Nurses New to the Role of Precepting

This one-day, seven hour course is designed for the RNs, LVNs and RCPs who are new in the role of precepting.

This one-day, seven-hour course is designed for nurses and respiratory care practitioners who are new in the role of precepting. This course will review the essential components of role modeling, educating, facilitating and evaluating the progress of a unit-based preceptor program. Utilizing common precepting scenarios and situations, both large and small workshop group discussion will be incorporated into this one-day program.

What to Bring
You must bring your RN license number to the class to get the CEU credit.
This course is provider-approved by the California Board of Nursing (Provider No. 70) for 7.0 contact hours.
Free visitor parking is available from the lot entrance on Spectrum Center Boulevard. Employee parking is available in the front, back and side of the Spectrum building. The four entrances on Tech Way require an activated employee badge.
