A team of dedicated Sharp-affiliated physicians lead this free educational forum, which covers the latest in treatment options for breast cancer patients.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various types of surgeries that may be necessary and the newest chemotherapy and radiation therapies. The doctors will also help patients better understand their pathology reports and the various stages of their particular cancer. Light snack will be provided.
The Laurel Amtower Cancer Institute's Breast Cancer Center at Sharp Memorial Hospital has received the highest certification from the American College of Surgeons and is listed as one of the outstanding centers in its field.
