Joint Replacement Preoperative Education Webinar – Sharp Coronado Hospital
This webinar will prepare patients who are having joint replacement surgery at Sharp Coronado Hospital.

This online class is for patients who are scheduled to have joint replacement surgery at Sharp Coronado Hospital. The preoperative class is taught by an orthopedic-certified registered nurse, who will provide an overview of what to expect when having surgery.
We will discuss:
- How to prepare for your upcoming surgery
- What to bring with you to the hospital
- What to expect during hospitalization
- Care management after you leave the hospital
- Recovery and pain management
Patients are welcome to have a family member attend the webinar with them. Please make sure to add any guests during the registration process using the patient's surgery location, date and surgeon's name.

Please note that all sessions will be held online only. You can attend via phone, computer or mobile device. You will be sent login instructions after you register in a separate email from your registration confirmation and again in with your reminder email three days before your webinar. Please check your email junk folder for the login information email from 82sharp@sharp.com.

Please make sure to log into Zoom at least five minutes before the start time of your class.
Course Recommendations
Please note that you should take this class no more than three weeks prior to your joint replacement surgery. Ideally, you should take the class within the two weeks prior to your scheduled surgery date.
