This online series is designed for individuals with cognitive difficulties related to post-acute sequalae of COVID-19 (PASC) or long-haul COVID-19. The class will introduce a variety of mental strategies and external aids designed to help you manage problems with memory, attention, organization and other thinking skills.
Over the six-week course, you will learn new strategies and find out how to optimize the techniques you have already learned. You will be asked to apply your new knowledge to your most important real-life problems and goals to make these skills relevant to your daily life.
This course will target the following cognitive abilities and areas of functioning:
- Attention and concentration
- Organization and prospective memory
- Learning and memory
- Executive functions (i.e., higher-level thinking), decision making, problem solving and planning

This course is for people who have previously been diagnosed with COVID-19. If you are over the age of 65, were hospitalized due to COVID-19 or were diagnosed with a neurological disorder prior to your COVID-19 diagnosis, please contact us before enrolling at 858-939-3947 to see if this class is right for you.
This is a six-week course with one meeting per week. Each session will have a break after the first hour and brief (2 minutes) breaks every 30 minutes.
Since classes will be held virtually with peer-to-peer interaction encouraged, please plan to participate via a tablet or computer that has a camera, speakers and a microphone, so that you can see and hear the instructors and your classmates.
