This professional development workshop and graduation ceremony is for those completing the Sharp Memorial Hospital Nurse Mentor and Mentee Program. The evening is highlighted by a presentation on embedding evidenced-based practices (EBP) and innovation into daily practices by Laurie Ecoff, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, who is the director of education, research and professional practice at Sharp Memorial.
At the end of the session, the participant will be able to:
- Identify two successful strategies to bring EBP and innovation to the bedside
- Discuss three successful staff-driven EBP projects recently implemented at Sharp Memorial Hospital
All past and current Sharp Memorial mentors and mentees are invited to attend. A light meal will be provided.

The program will run from 4 to 5:30 pm, followed by the graduation from 5:30 to 6 pm.
