As the news changes from one day to the next, parents continue to need to plan their children’s daily schedule, education and child care. As if family life and work-life balance weren’t challenging enough before COVID-19, the continuing challenges and additional complications from the pandemic have many families under significant stress.
Connect with other parents at this virtual support group sponsored by the Sharp HealthCare Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Each meeting will focus on a different topic, providing you with a variety of parenting tips and information. There will also be an opportunity for open discussion and mutual support from other parents.
This support group is open to Sharp employees only. Regular attendance and participation are encouraged. Newcomers are welcome at any meeting.
If you need to cancel your registration for this event,
please call 1-800-827-4277 Monday through Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, or log in to your account to cancel online.
The group is facilitated by Michael Levy, LCSW, an EAP counselor and workplace consultant for Sharp HealthCare. He has been working with individuals, couples, parents and families for 25 years, and is also a parent.
This group will meet once a week on alternating Tuesdays (noon) and Wednesdays (6 pm). We prefer that you attend on the same day of the week, but this is flexible based on your schedule and personal needs for participation.
As this support group is interactive, please plan to participate via a smartphone, tablet or computer that has a camera, speakers and a microphone, so that you can see and hear the facilitator and your fellow parents. You will be emailed instructions on how to log in after you register. Please keep these login instructions if you’d like to attend again on the same day/time.
