This free support group is designed to provide information, education, moral support and advice related to weight loss and bariatric surgery. We welcome anyone, regardless of Sharp HealthCare affiliation, who is thinking about metabolic and bariatric surgery or in the pre/post-surgery stages.
Each meeting is designed with a specific topic or open forum discussion. Time for Q&A is also provided to encourage participants to obtain relevant information for their weight loss success.

Sandy Younan, RDN, will review what mindful eating is and give tips and ideas on how to be more present and thoughtful in the eating process. Participants will be able to share what they ate for lunch and receive feedback.

This support group occurs the last Wednesday of every odd-numbered month. Please see the schedule above for exact dates and times.
Arrival
You can attend via any computer or mobile device (smartphone or tablet) that has an audio connection and microphone. A webcam is preferred for video access.
