Toddler Talking Tips Class No. 1
This introduction course is designed to support both new and experienced parents and family caregivers in laying the groundwork for their child's language development, starting from 9 months through toddlerhood.
As caregivers, you may find yourself with limited extra time throughout the day. This class gives you strategies to support your toddler's language skills by using your environment and daily routines to your advantage.
A Sharp Rees-Stealy speech-language pathologist will provide you with actionable steps that are easy to replicate. There will also be time to answer your questions.
After completing this initial course, we highly recommend enrolling for the second part of this series, Toddler Talking Tips: Class No. 2.
After completing this class series, you will:
- Feel confident in supporting your toddler's language development
- Be able to choose books/toys that are best for language growth
- Know if/when to reach out to your pediatrician with any language development concerns
