This free support group offers women an opportunity to talk about the issues that may arise after they complete cancer treatment, such as follow-up care anxiety, fear of recurrence and where to find support.
A new topic will be presented each month for six months and you may begin attending the group at any time. After attending all six sessions, you will be ready to transition to other community support resources outside of this clinical setting.
Please refer to the schedule section for a list of topics and dates. Registration is not required prior to attending.
Reserved patient parking is located in front of the Barnhart Cancer Center. Free visitor parking is available in lots surrounding the facility.
Due to the sensitive nature of cancer-related topics, we ask that only women attend this group to ensure as comfortable an environment as possible.
This support group is facilitated by an experienced oncology social worker.
