Adaptive Weight Training Class

This class will provide patients with an adaptive space and equipment to safely exercise with independence post neuro outpatient PT/OT discharge.
The adaptive weight training aims to improve discharge plans from outpatient neuro physical and occupational therapy services and address community needs for exercise-based maintenance programs.
Allowing 4-6 clients access to West Gym from 4:15-5:15pm every Monday provided by a therapist, aide and/or volunteer. All clients will be supervised during exercises, setting up equipment as needed, and providing no more than contact guard assist to one client at a given time.

Parking Information
Parking available in Health Center parking lot, across from Sharp Outpatient Center (Allison deRose Rehabilitation Center). Validated parking is available.
Fee Information
The fee is $15.
Special Instructions
These classes are for recently discharged patients from outpatient PT/OT services with established home exercise programs provided by primary therapists. Patients will require a medical release form from their medical dotctor to participate.
Schedule
Every Monday 4:15pm-5:15pm. Cap 4-6 clients for gym availability. One licensed therapist and aide/volunteer to provided limited assistance as needed.
