I chose to become a physician to combine my passion for science with a deep commitment to helping others live healthier, more fulfilling lives. My medical and patient care philosophy centers on compassionate, evidence-based and patient-centered care. My new doctor actively listened to me and explained processes to get the proper treatment if my problem persists after my recent urgent care visit. I also brought a few other concerns to him and he told me how I was able to access an optometrist without a referral. Very helpful. He mentioned my oncology labs and ordered other labs to check cholesterol and A1C that were needed. I really appreciated his ability to enable shared decision making which is very important to me.
