I came in for a body scan and the doctor acted like I was eating his time and annoyed that I was there. The way he was talking to me was very condescending and rude. I felt very uncomfortable. I was told by another dermatologist to come in every year for a body scan of my moles to be safe. He acted like I was wasting his time and do a very terrible job of my body scan. I left feeling humiliated for even going in.

This was for an infection on my upper lip. Dr. Sheinbein listened carefully that Dr Boddu had continued to re-prescribe Mupirocin time after time (for 3 months!) even though it didn't keep the infection away, but she never swabbed it to do a culture to determine what it really was. Dr. Sheinbein Immediately suggested from my description and the re-occurence, that the infection was most likely/ high probability of being a herpes virus needing different medication. He described the treatment and gave me the option of letting the infection turn back to blisters again for a swab,and a return trip to the office, or starting the herpes med immediately. I started the meds, everything cleared up and to date has not returned.
