Kristi Ortiz

Kristi Ortiz, RN, is a lead nurse practitioner at the heart transplant center at Sharp Memorial Hospital.

She loves caring for cardiac patients, and having the opportunity to help them live a better, longer life.

Ortiz was once a patient herself, facing an advanced diagnosis, and feels that her personal experience helps her relate better to those she cares for. She is proud to be a part of Sharp, and trusts the teams with her life, and the lives of her patients.
