Let us know when you arrive — right from your phone
When you're in the waiting area, use the Sharp app's Appointment Arrival feature to let us know you're here. Simply tap "I’m here" in the app or respond to a text to complete the check-in process. Our front desk staff will be notified that you have arrived.
How it works
1
eCheck-In (before your appointment)
Up to 7 days before your appointment, you will receive an email, text or push notification asking you to check in early online. Click the link to get started and take care of your pre-visit tasks. If you haven't completed eCheck-In 24 hours before your appointment, we'll send you a reminder.
2
Appointment Arrival (day of your appointment)
A Sharp app notification will display on your phone up to 30 minutes before your appointment reminding you to confirm your arrival. You’ll receive a second notification when you’re near the clinic. Simply tap "I’m here" in the Sharp app or respond “Here” to the text message to complete the check-in process. Our front desk staff will be notified that you have arrived and are ready to be seen.
Frequently asked questions
General questions
eCheck-In lets you take care of steps before your visit, such as completing forms and questionnaires ahead of time.
Appointment Arrival is the step you use when you get to your appointment location to let your care team know you’ve arrived for your visit.
Most patients are able to complete eCheck-In before their appointment and use their personal device to notify front desk when they arrive. Some forms and questionnaires are not yet available through eCheck-In. In those cases, you will be asked to complete those tasks when you arrive.
Use one of our kiosks if you are unable to complete eCheck-In or Appointment Arrival on your personal device. If you already responded “I’m here” to the text message or tapped “I’m here” in the Sharp app, there’s no need to use the kiosk — you have fully completed the check-in process.
Many of our clinics offer kiosks or iPads that allow you to complete required check-in steps on site. You can also check in at the front desk if you prefer.
Most Sharp Rees-Stealy departments offer both eCheck-In and Appointment Arrival to help make your visit easier. At this time, Radiology offers eCheck-In, but not Appointment Arrival. Laboratory does not offer eCheck-In or Appointment Arrival.
