About Michelle Medina, NP, CNM

I always loved helping people when I was growing up. Anyone who was hurt or ill, I was there to care for them. This led me to my nursing career. After over a decade as a bedside registered nurse and being exposed to midwifery care, I felt a calling to pursue further education. I am now able to have a more substantial impact in seeing my patients throughout their pregnancy, as well as providing education before they come to Labor & Delivery. I truly believe in providing individualized care for every patient and family. I love empowering and educating them so they can make the best decision for their situation. I believe in lifestyle education measures and non-pharmacological options when it is safe and the best option. It is my goal to be a partner with my patients to support a healthy pregnancy that leads to a healthy birth. Listening to my patients, truly understanding their concerns, and meeting them where they are, helps me provide the best care possible. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. My kids are very active in sports, and I love watching every minute. Along with my three children, I also have three fur babies who keep us busy.
