AED Training Class for Copley Building Employees
This voluntary training session will teach Copley employees how and when to use one of the building's automated external defibrillators (AED). An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias and is able to treat them through defibrillation, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm.
With simple audio and visual commands, the devices are designed to be simple to use even for those without medical training. No prior AED or Basic Life Support experience is required to attend this class.
